(2) three things that worked well

    1. Organization of team leads, that helped keep teams stay focused and on time.
    2. Delegation of jobs during Vizagogo, it ran  rather smoothly and according to Vizagogo
         verterans alot less stressful than previous years.
    3. The timing of schedule, I believe with the constant reminder of schedule for every class helped
        keep everything on time and made sure all bases were covered.

(3) three things we might try to do better next time

 1. Make sure there is a second-in-command for every team lead (including exhibition!) 
 2. Send Vizagogo deadlines out to professors beginning of semester so they can plan final projects accordingly. Much of the stereo work was missed because of confusion from professor.
 3. More organized class discussions. Small details got argued in class which should of been done within the group, I feel a bunch of class time was lost because of that. I think what would of helped is to spend the first 10 or 15 minutes amongst groups to organize their presentation/tie loose ends then gather together for class.

Sunday: The Clean Up

I arrived around 10am to help clean up the exhibition space. I helped Savannah and Tiffany take sticky stuff off the walls left from the frames. In between that I helped with packing the 3D screen pressing the tab down to take it off the stand and taping the bottom. Once the vehicles were loaded by the loading crew, I had to go with them to unlock studio A to put equipment up. That took about 30 minutes making trips with the expensive equipment. Then we headed to uhaul so Garrett could drop it off in time then we all headed back to the exhibition space in the university truck. We did the last load in and headed back to langford again and unloaded. We put most of the stuff back where we knew to, all within studio A and dash. I put the 3d box and sketch book stands in the loft with help, and the class helped put tables up leftover from VIP so we could put more stuff up which helped Glen, Jessica and I out alot for Monday since we'll be figuring where to put all the light stuff up anyways. We ended up finishing a little before 1, the take down was pretty quick with everyones help.

Saturday Vizagogo

Saturday I came in at 3 to work my shift of the exhibition space til 7. It was pretty slow, sold a few shirts and talked to people. At 7 I went to help take projector and lens over to the Palace and did set up again and ran test. It went quicker since the screen was already set up. After the show I went and helped taking down the screen and packing up The Palace and taking back over to the exhibition space for storage. We ended around 10:30. We had alot of help so the process was smooth and quick.

Friday Vizagogo

Around 4 we loaded the rest of the screening equipment and headed over to the exhibition space to pick up the screens and audio equipment. Then we set up the screen on the stage, ran test with the projector and audio. There was a lot of help this time so Glen and Kevin weren't by themselves. It was really hot, so afterwards I went to go grab food/water and came back and watched the space with a few vizzers.

Exhibition Set Up

I arrived at 9:45 this morning as an artist to hang up my piece since I was not part of the technical crew in the morning due to my job with undergrad show. Things were delayed and somehow command only fell under one person, so there was no clue on what to do and much time was wasted. I ended up helping out with last minute efforts to get things organized. Savannah and I made a run to the lab to pick up supplies needed for morning set up.  Around 1 I headed back to the lab to help with undergrad show since I was really needed there to help/deter people from Glen while Glen finished things up for the show. I stayed through the show to help retrieve items from undergrads that we needed immediately after the show ended around 7:30. I got the box for the 3D TV and directed people on what things needed to go and took inventory on last minute changes/locating items. The 3D TV took the longest since it was the most expensive and delicate piece of equipment. Around 10:30 we headed to exhibition space and started unloading and setting up. I helped with repair some of the frames that fell, and covered technical issues. Garrett and I ended up making another run to the lab for needed things. Then I helped finish up the framing and moving tables/general cleaning. I got let go a little before 2am. It was an exhausting night just because it was a very long day, but due to the bumps in the road I felt it was very well recovered and dealt with.

Moving Stuff Day 1

We meet a little before noon Tuesday to do the initial move for exhibition stuff that wasn't being used for VIST show. My SUV was being used for light tracks, lights and boxes of stuff so I left around 11:30 to go get my vehicle. We headed over there a little after noon and unloaded the stuff and did some preliminary cleaning. Since I was only driver that day I left around 2 to go help with VIST show. There was alot of people there and floaters so my help wasn't missed much that day.

Getting Things Together

I initially planned to go to help with framing at 1, but got a call from Jake around 12 needing videos from the fall show and summer industry course. After checking in with Glen, I went up there to find the right hard drive for fall show so Jake could get videos that people didn't resubmit for a better format. For summer industry course, the videos will wait for tomorrow since they aren't needed for industry people and Glen has to dig through the drives himself to find the right version. So after getting the stuff for Jake, I was late to framing. I managed to help them in the end with attaching plastic ends to the frames and move pieces upstairs into Dash. Then I helped Garrett get some measurements of TVs for Spencer.
